What we rescue

Six failure modes, one playbook.

Every rescue starts with the same forensic review. The fix changes based on what we find — and what we find is almost always one or more of these.

Stalled rollouts

Go-live keeps slipping. Each new date arrives, then slides another 6–12 weeks. Often a sign that scope has crept, customisations are fighting the platform, or the vendor never built a proper migration plan.

Broken go-lives

The system is live but core processes don't work. Orders can't be raised, payroll runs wrong, inventory numbers don't match reality, month-end can't close. Business is running on workarounds.

Partial data loss

Migration completed but with gaps. Open balances don't reconcile, sub-ledgers are missing transactions, historical reporting can't be reproduced. Finance is reconciling by hand every month.

Vendor abandonment

The implementation partner has slowed, stopped responding, or actively walked. You're stuck mid-project with a system that's neither finished nor unusable.

Customisations no one understands

Years of bespoke code from contractors who've moved on. Every upgrade breaks something. The system has become a liability rather than an asset.

Compliance gaps

APRA reporting, ATO obligations, Essential Eight controls, audit trail requirements — the new system was supposed to handle them but doesn't. Compliance is back on spreadsheets.

How a rescue works

A four-step process, refined over rescues.

Stabilise first so the business can keep running. Then rebuild what has to be rebuilt — without forcing you back to day one.

  1. 01

    Forensic review

1–2 weeks. We map current state at every layer — process, data, configuration, integration, governance. Output is a written assessment naming exactly what's broken and what's salvageable.

  2. 02

    Stabilisation plan

Fixed-price proposal to make the system safe to operate. Critical fixes first. The business runs on the system through the remediation rather than freezing while we work.

  3. 03

    Remediation

Phased rebuild of what has to be rebuilt. Migration re-runs under triple backup. Customisations rebuilt as upgrade-safe extensions. Integrations rewired. Compliance gaps closed.

  4. 04

    Handover & support

Same team continues after stabilisation. Unlimited support from the engineers who did the remediation. Documentation handed to your team so the recovery doesn't depend on us forever.

Platforms we rescue

We rescue what we know how to build.

Taking on a rescue engagement on a platform we don't deploy fresh is how you extend the failure rather than fix it. We work on the platforms we know inside out.
